WATERLESS is a fundamental element for cosmetic formulations and haircare, as it combines sustainability for the waste of water, practicality and hyper concentrated products that can optimize a formulation by helping the ecosystem.
Galenica is made up of organic products with a delicate formulation based on plant extracts, both for the salon and for the final consumer, with assets that, unlike other similar products on the market, can be also used simultaneously acting on multiple pathologies without any kind of contraindications.
Galenica is an Eco Luxury line based on fermented olive oil, sap of birch and an active deriving from the waste of olive oil (upcycling) with antipollution action.
In addition to being a complete line aimed at solving anomalies of the scalp, the highly conditioning formulations have a deeply moisturizing action leaving hair extremely shiny and invigorated.
The packaging used is exclusively made of recycled material and in glass embracing the “upcycling” philosophy: transformation process of by-products, waste materials in new materials and objects.

story
The Story
In the ancient Greek and later Roman civilization the Goddess Gea, protector of Nature made available her natural gifts useful to create the basis of all more effective medical care.
This was the great intuition of Galen considered one of the greatest doctors of all time, enlightened philosopher, scholar of vital phenomena whose writings handed down over time, they became undisputed points of reference for the study of Biology and Medicine.
Unlike previous medical schools, linked more to “magical rituals”, that of Galen was the first who attempted to explain pathologies in a natural and rational key through the use of herbal preparations linked to a deep study of human anatomy.
For each disease he applied his knowledge in a clinical way: this allowed him, through observation, to understand the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, using agents phytotherapeutic with wise extraction methods to release the properties e the effectiveness of the active ingredients of plants.
Thus the various compounds were born, hence the name still used today “galenics”, which had the ability to be used and combined to create completely customized “tailored” blends, precisely because they were of organic and phytotherapeutic origin.
Galen through mechanical naturism, together with Hippocrates gave birth to a total of 108 official works. If in addition to these, would be elaborated six other ones , specific for for trichology, how they would have been?

The Galenic method
Just as from the “Galenic method”, hair’s health comes restored through a scientific and in-depth diagnosis that the expert makes thanks to specific tools for the hair and scalp.
Through a pattern created specifically by our technical team, the hairdresser uses the galenic protocol to formulate a “diagnosis” and choose the essential active ingredients acting directly on the cause of the anomaly.
The possibility of customizing the treatment based on single customer’s pathology guarantees greater effectiveness of the method and a much shorter curative path, allowing the hairdresser to become a real trusted trichological consultant for the individual client on several levels: from the first step in the salon, maintenance at home, up to the consultation of an expert trichologist when necessary.

Galen’s studies are based on the fact that there are four corresponding humors, four elements of the human body that reflect their influence in the psychophysical condition of the individual. From an external well-being it can therefore be soothed an energy imbalance and internal temperament and vice versa: working on psyche, you can have decisive results on a physical level.
Galenica proposes an innovative system to rebalance body and mind in order to make it more receptive to trichological treatments tailored according to the single individual ’s pathology. Aroma therapy and the visualization of images, that reflect customer’s current mood lead to a state of relaxation, during which the operator begins the treatment by combining it with specific gestures and massages depending on the anomaly found. As a result, the relaxed scalp receives the benefits of organic active ingredients used by rebalancing scalp anomalies over time and stabilizing the psycho-physical condition of the individual.
